Only Good Gifts

To all users who have tried to send friend invitations or new users who are even trying to signup on the website over the past week or so, I apologize.

There was a problem with how I’m handling outgoing emails, and to make a long story short, I messed some things up.

I’m working on it now, but things should be back up and working. Hopefully you still got that email, even though its a bit late now.

I’m pleased to announce that Only Good Gifts now supports OpenID!

If you already have an OpenID identity, you can easily just log in to Only Good Gifts without needing to create an account first.

I’m pleased to announce that OnlyGoodGifts is now out of Beta!

The site is now open to anyone and everyone and you no longer need an invitation to join.

All existing users, and all new users that sign up, will now have unlimited invitations to send to friends and family as well.

This falls into the too little, too late category, but a new “Print this Wishlist” feature was added to the site. Clicking this link will give you a print version of a user’s wishlist that shows only the unpurchased items.

This should make it easier to print off a friend’s wish list when heading out to do your shopping so you can have easy reference while you are shopping.

Here is a quick how-to video on using the new OnlyGoodGifts.com bookmarklet tool to quickly and easily add items to your wish list.

Hopefully (fingers crossed) sometime this coming week OnlyGoodGifts will launch a private friends and family beta.

This test beta should get us through November and possibly through the Christmas holiday. After that, if all goes well, the site will be opened to the public.
